Teifi was born to Tyler and Tootsie April 6th 2000. She was the
Special girl we picked to keep from that litter of 7 tris. She was
named for my favourite River in South Wales. It is pronounced TIVEE
but spelt Teifi
Teifi had a great career in the show ring and was fun to show.
Ferebe Simons did a great job showing her and she took the breed
over Specials many times. She finished her Championship with a four
point major and a five point major which she got going BOW at the
Garden State Specialty. Teifi also was a Canadian Champion and
easily finished up there and took the breed over Specials there also
several times. Teifi earned her HT in herding and would have gone on
to do the PT but got busy having a couple of litters to her grand
father Mickey which took her out of town to be bred. TEIFI ALSO TOOK
A BEST IN SHOW AT A UKC SHOW WHEN TAKEN TO ONE..
Teifi has now been spayed and gone to live with Jean Gale and her
son Bobby. Jean manages the 4 H in Burlington county, in New Jersey,
and Bobby has trained thru that and is now ready to do Junior
showmanship with Teifi and compete in obedience and agility and try
herding again where Teifi showed so much talent as a young dog.
We wish them much happiness together.
