CHRISTMAS NEWS FROM KIM

Janet,
Happy new Year!  I know this is a long time coming but I have attached some pictures of Dylan so you can see what a handsome boy he is and I would love for you to pick one out to showcase on the puppy page of the ones born in NJ.

Dylan has been my most "difficult" corgi thus far and has taught me a lot about patience. He also is known as "Pigpen" and or "Mess". He is absolutely with out a doubt the hardest to keep clean and is much happier being dirty. He loves his squeaky toys (very selective about which ones he will play with) and will play fetch forever as long as the weather is cool enough for him. He is not much for taking walks and prefers to stay behind as I take the others out. He is usually waiting by the door when we come back but very happy he did not have to exert himself. Dylan is very moody at times and likes to "talk" (grumble is what I refer to it as) especially when he feels closed in and you are infringing on his space. He is the alpha dog of my pack and prefers to be on the outskirts of the activity and observe. He does not share getting attention well at all.
He loves the beach! I think because he brings half of it back with him in his coat! Often times he will just wander down to the water and do a splat right where the waves wash up the beach to keep his tummy cool and he is most content.
He has become a one person dog and truly has bonded with me. He is very depressed and according to my family "sulks" when I leave and am not around. He wants nothing to do with anyone else.
A great trait of Dylan's is that nothing phases him. He does not get out of control, or overly excited seeing new dogs, going to the vets or letting me do anything to him that I want or need to. He is so laid back in that respect that everyone comments on it.
